Once For All

Hebrews 10: 9-14

"He sets aside the first to establish the second, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all."
To make more pointed the argument that the old sacrifice has been set aside, in verses 11- 14 the writer of Hebrews he makes a contrast between the sacrifices the Levitical priest offered and Christ's sacrifice. The Levitical priest always stood because his work was never finished. These sacrifices were unable to accomplish what they signified. They could not remove sin so they had to be offered over and over.
Christ sat down at the right hand of God because His work was completed. His one sacrifice atoned for all sins of all time, making any further sacrifice unnecessary.

Thank You Lord for your sacrifice in my place! Nothing further is required for me to be holy before You, Holy Spirit guide me to accept what He has already accomplished.
